One challenge we faced was improving the video on our weekly broadcasts and increasing our bandwidth.
Our church was closed completely for about a month. During that time, our pastoral staff recorded a weekly service. Since it was filmed in a smaller room instead of the sanctuary, the video of the sermon featured closer framing of our pastors. It gave the impression they were speaking directly to the viewer instead of the viewer watching the pulpit from afar.
This prompted many compliments from members, and we ended up spending some money to upgrade our streaming cameras to be able to get a closer zoom once regular service resumed.
We also had to upgrade our Internet bandwidth since streaming has now become a much more integral and standard aspect of our weekly service than it was before covid-19.

I bet! It’s a blessing to see the hand of the Lord at work in your life.
That’s a popular option. Do you get a lot of interaction from your members on Facebook? Do you know if it helps increase participation?
Sorry to hear the news. After so long together, I can only imagine the difficulty she must be going through. She is fortunate to have a good family to support her through her period of grief.
Glad you are here! Thanks for joining.
I agree with you. The Lord is generous to leave us 90 percent of all He gives us to support our families, undertake our calling, and advance His kingdom.
Thanks for sharing. It sounds like the Lord has been active in your family.
The church needs a Bible-based and successful drug ministry model focused on major areas like San Francisco. If you know of good examples of successful ministries, share them here.

You got it! Done – My introduction.
Our church doesn’t currently have a gleaning ministry in the sense in which I mean it, which is to ensure there’s always an opportunity available for folks who need money to be able to come to the church and earn it.
I am developing a policy to propose to our church leadership. There are legal concerns to address first, and there is no guarantee of adoption. It will be limited in scope at first. I will share what I learn on this site along the way to help give others a leg up when they want to do the same.
I have heard of businesses implementing gleaning ministries. Usually, it is as a way for people who cannot afford to pay for a service to do some work instead (mop the floors, wash the dishes, and so on). I think there’s an opportunity to do more.
Thanks for sharing, John! I’m honored to have you join the site. No doubt you have much wisdom to share, and also I think you’ll be able to learn more here that will help you in Belize. I’m sure we all look forward to hearing more about that.
